As a die hard yankee fan i find a few of your comments to be pretty interesting. First off, i agree totally with you that every baseball fan looks forward to the post-season. This time of year is the most exciting for any baseball fan, but in reality we all realize that the summer is about to end and the weather is about to change as well. I still feel that Yankee fans are amazing but i do have to say that i am pretty impressed by the Boston fan’s at Fenway. The “Park” looks awesome from inside and out and i especially like the seats above the monster. I just heard that Shop Rite ran out of “icing”, so Boston fans i hope you savor the flavor because winning the series again anytime soon is just not going to happen!! Go Yanks (and Rays this postseason)

Being a Yankee fan, I really just despise the Red Socks. By definition, they aren’t considered a rivalry unless you consider the past 10 years. It has been very exciting to watch such great games, but we need to restore order to the Universe.

Although I am a Yankee fan I would have to agree with you that Fenway Park is a great place to watch a game. I’ve been to a lot of sporting events and I don’t think there is any better rivalry in sports than the Yankees and the Red Sox.

I had to laugh when I saw this blog. My husband is a huge Red Sox fan and is from Mass. I am a yankees fan. But for years I adored his passion for a team and the spunky fun love for them that kinda made me cheer for them! Especially for Johnny Damon who doesnt belong on the team I love. But its always funny how much grief we both get from our NY or Boston family/friends.
